Required

5+ years of Java (or similar programming language) development experience in a complex environment, such as: large scale web infrastructure or development team.

Understanding of monitoring technologies including logging frameworks and tooling.

Understanding of architecture, application system design.

Experience maintaining and enhancing monitoring.

Has an Automation First attitude.

Good Understanding of Microservice architecture.

Strong experience writing SQL and using databases like SQL Server, Postgres etc.

Strong experience creating and communicating with REST and SOAP APIs.

Experience with containerized app development for cloud platforms.

Experience with Agile.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; Relevant industry experience can substitute.

Preferred

Experience with crypto technologies Symmetric/Asymmetric Keys, PKI.

Knowledge of IBM EKMF or other key management applications.

UI dev experience in Angular/React (preferable not mandatory)

Programming Languages and Frameworks: Java 8 and above, Kafka, Backend DBs – Postgres, MySQL, Web Services, Rest APIs, Scripting Languages (Bash/Python/Perl), Splunk, ELK/KIBANA, Load & performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
