Responsibilities
Apply engineering principles to measure and automate network reliability.
Respond promptly to network disruptions and collaborate to restore functionality.
Automate recurring tasks to enhance workflow efficiency.
Support hundreds of thousands of network devices and millions of servers in a cloud-based network.

Required
US Citizenship required.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related engineering field with 5+ years of Network Engineering experience.
Experience working in a network operations role and in-depth network troubleshooting.
Hands on experience supporting Cisco ASA & Nexus platforms, F5 devices, Avocent devices, Juniper Firewalls and Routers.
Hands on experience supporting BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Dedicated circuits, Dark Fiber, TCP/IP, DNS.
Extensive experience with scripting or automation – Python preferred.
Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
Experience of working in a DevOps methodology.
Familiar with VCS tools like git, bitbucket for code and configuration management.
Preferred
Experience working in a large ISP, enterprise network, or cloud provider environment.
Experience working with python for network automation and network configuration management. (Highly Desired)
Experience with Agile Project Management. (Highly Desired)
Experience with governance, risk, compliance, and security matters including collaborating with internal and external parties during audits and other compliance related activities. (Highly Desired)
Familiarity with network vendor interactions.
F5 LTM/GTM
IPSeC VPNs
Certifications in Cisco CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIP¬SP, CCISP, or other data communication certifications.
Knowledge of Linux and Windows networking.
Experience of CICD pipelines.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
