Team Lead, Production Engineer

Responsibilities
This person is the escalation point and mentor for the lower level production engineers.
Prioritize the team's work based on the organization's goals.
Monitor, respond to and resolve production application alerts and identify errors and issues before they impact customers.
Investigate complex production bugs/issues with Engineering.
Manage production incidents / outages.
Manage on-call duties as scheduled.
Write scripted runbooks and automations as workaround solutions.
Validating and reproducing customer reported bugs and escalating to Engineering & Product.
Ensuring customer issues are escalated expeditiously as needed.
Improve knowledge base resources for team enablement.
Triage and prioritize the support requests based on severity and impact and assign them to team members appropriately based on their skillset.

Required
At least 5 years of experience as a tier lll or IV Support engineer, or junior software engineer.
At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead/Manager
Proven prioritization and incident management skills.
Proven technical troubleshooting skills.
Strong Linux / Unix proficiency - a MUST
Cloud experience required. AWS and Azure preferred.
Database knowledge - relational and object oriented. PostgreSQL, MariaDB and SOQL experience a plus
SQL knowledge - intermediate level queries.
Experience with Salesforce (Salesforce Admin- a strong advantage.)
Knowledge of ServiceNow / Dynamics CRM - a strong advantage.
Experience in writing scripts in Python / Bash / Shell.
Experience with Enterprise Software, B2B SaaS and/or in 24x7x365 organizations.
Fluent in English - working with global teams
Highly customer oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
Independent and self-motivated with multi-tasking and analytical skills.
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce Admin
Knowledge of ServiceNow / Dynamics CRM
Social, communicative and generally a nice person :)
