Responsibilities
Contribute creative ideas as part of brainstorm sessions.
Create design systems and work within established ones, collaborating with senior team members.
Undertake original design work.
Implement rounds of internal and client revisions with speed and accuracy.
Conduct image searches, create mood boards, design supporting graphics, build comps, prepare meeting materials, lay out presentation decks, and assist the creative team as directed.
Perfect and supplement production experience and diversify your professional skills and knowledge.
Clearly articulate design rationale as it relates to project strategy.
Present creative ideas to colleagues and clients on a regular basis.
Research topical issues such as design technology, culture, photography, creative resources, and freely share this information with colleagues.
Prepare for, and participate in, pitches and presentations.

Required
Hold a BFA or equivalent from a reputable design program.
Have 2 – 3 years of professional experience at a respected design firm or creative agency.
Demonstrate a high-level of design ability and professional accomplishment via a high-quality portfolio.
Be able to fluidly and effectively apply design principles such as typography, color, and layout, to achieve innovative outcomes.
Be ready with an idea but open and receptive to creative guidance.
Be technically expert, up-to-date, and top of current technology.
Respect editorial and production processes.
Be highly collaborative with project managers, writers, strategists, and vendors.
Be organized and methodical with files.
Be honest, sincere, and open.
Thrive in a hybrid work environment (minimum of 3 days per week in person at our South Norwalk, CT office)
Expertise in use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as Figma
Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with After Effects and css/html
Preferred
Bonus points for knowledge of modern CMS platforms, css/html, and email marketing platforms
