Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Develop automated reports and data visualizations to enhance decision-making processes.
Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
Conduct variance analysis and scenario planning to assess financial performance and forecast future outcomes.
Provide insights into financial trends and implications for business strategy.
Evaluate financial performance metrics, including profitability, margins, and return on investment (ROI).
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with finance teams to develop strategies and action plans based on data-driven insights.
Utilize business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create interactive dashboards and reports.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and data models to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Stay updated on emerging BI trends and technologies to enhance reporting capabilities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk assessment.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Identify process improvement opportunities within financial reporting and analysis processes.
Streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Document procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance with reporting standards.

Required
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
Data Analysis: Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for creating dashboards and reports.
Programming Skills: Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data querying, scripting, and data manipulation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role involving financial data analysis and reporting.
Preferred
A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBIP) may be advantageous.
