Responsibilities

Inspire and set a vision for the engineering team.
Architect software testing processes with automation.
Lead the engineering team by actively participating in projects.
Evaluate existing technology to determine its suitability for the organization.
Reshape and build out the Engineering department.
Lead and evaluate engineering (development and QA) teams and technologies.
Work with end users to collect requirements and communicate best practices.
Architect engineering departments for optimal performance.

Required

People leadership. Ability to inspire and set a vision.
Architecture of Software Testing experience with automation.
Lead Engineer experience – willing to roll up sleeves and get dirty.
Evaluation of existing technology. Does it work for us and our needs.
Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills while also being able to lead a working group.
10+ years of hands-on experience leading and evaluating engineering (development and QA) teams and technologies.
Experience working with end users collecting requirements and communicating best practices.
Experience architecting engineering departments.
Someone from a smaller organization (not enterprise level).

Preferred

Familiarity with their tech stack (Angular, React, PHP, .Net, Kubernetes, Microservices)
White Hat/Black Hat security
Familiarity with offshore + have ties there.
