Responsibilities

Analyze data within the Azure cloud platform to provide actionable insights and support the decision-making processes

Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden relationships and anomalies within the data

Write SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and manipulate data for analysis and reporting purposes

Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and presentations

Utilize Azure data services such as Azure SQL Warehouse, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Analysis Services for data analysis and reporting

Optimize data queries and processing workflows for performance and efficiency

Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation checks and monitoring data accuracy

Adhere to data governance policies and standards to maintain data security and compliance

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights

Work closely with data engineers and other team members to ensure data availability and accessibility
