Responsibilities
Working with senior bankers in the NY NREC team to service the financing needs of renewable energy and commodities clients in North America, including for complex transactions, operational requirements, and day-to-day enquiries;
Working collaboratively within a deal team to support and execute on capital solutions for clients, primarily project and structured finance solutions supporting the development of solar, wind, and energy storage projects, including transaction due diligence, financial modeling, and documentation review;
Supporting origination activities through the preparation of marketing pitches and client presentations;
Providing analytical and credit-related support in preparation of internal credit applications for new transactions, while liaising with product partners, credit risk, and other key stakeholders;
Performing portfolio monitoring activities and analysis required for annual client reviews and other in-life maintenance processes.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, law, numerical, engineering or business related disciplines preferred
Ideally previous experience in corporate or investment banking (graduate program or internship) and with a keen interest in the renewable energy and commodities sectors
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
Aptitude in financial modelling, together with strong research and analytical skills
A desire to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
