Responsibilities

Handle the processing of invoices and ensure accurate AP data entry.

Utilize accounting software systems such as Great Plains, IBM AS/400, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for daily tasks.

Oversee check processing procedures and ensure timely payment to vendors.

Maintain and update customer credit records using Microsoft Excel.

Handle a high volume of emails and resolve any discrepancies in accounts payable.

Assist with month-end closing activities and special projects as required.

Work closely with the General Ledger team to ensure accurate account numbers.

Proactively identify missing information in the system and take necessary steps to find solutions.

Uphold data entry accuracy and assist with the cleanup of vendor data.

Engage in regular communication with offices and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Required

Proficiency in accounting software systems

Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

Familiarity with IBM AS/400 system
