Responsibilities
Ensure customer technical requirements are met and designs comply with industry standards.
Apply technical knowledge to develop solutions for substation design and construction challenges.
Review engineering designs by third-party firms and optimize for cost efficiency.
Lead substation design activities including protection and control systems.
Prepare equipment specifications, conduct field inspections, and provide construction support.
Identify and mitigate project risks, manage scope changes, and ensure timely reviews of technical information.
Participate in industry groups, support business development, and mentor team members.
Develop conceptual designs, estimates, and schedules, and engage in technical committees.

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline.
Capability of solving difficult problems by modifying typical approaches, techniques, procedures, etc.
Strong Problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Willingness to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time.
Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works and other design software.
A Professional Engineer (PE) registration or Engineer in Training (EIT) a plus.
