Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining, enhancing, and auditing Slate queries, reports, and dashboards.
Coordinate system customization and issue resolution.
Provide ongoing training and technical support to campus users of Slate.
Coordinate with leadership to optimize workflows in Slate.
Develop process improvements and make recommendations to leverage the use of Slate.
Create and monitor data file transfers into and out of the Slate; monitor the accuracy of data across systems and resolve data discrepancies.
Import data into CRM from external sources, and export data for distribution to various departments.
Clean and prepare data for analysis.
Present data in such a way that it tells a compelling story.
Help users understand and apply best practices to maximize organizational and business performance.
Foster ways to drive data-driven decision-making throughout all units.
Create and manage an array of dashboards to measure key performance indicators for UA and create/maintain reports and analytics for the division.
Utilize advanced Slate reporting and Power BI, modifying, delivering and creating custom reports, including composite reports, matrix reports, and dashboards, which meet business users' needs.
Troubleshoot report-related issues and resolve them on time.
Ensure reporting and analytics data integrity, risk management, and mitigation strategies by supporting information security and compliance policies.
Exercise confidentiality, professionalism, and independent judgment in handling confidential information and adhering to governance standard requirements.
Stay current with Slate product enhancements.
Assist with creation and auditing of user accounts to ensure appropriate roles/access, and regularly review and update permissions to maintain security and compliance.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline required.
Three to five years of experience in the field of information technology, database management or related discipline required.
Preferred
Minimum three years of Slate-specific experience in Enrollment and/or Advancement strongly preferred.
Minimum of three years related experience; Power BI, SQL, CSS or JavaScript preferred.
Experience solving reporting and dashboard issues through root-cause analysis, deep understanding of cross-stream and down-stream impacts is preferred.
Experience with higher education preferred.
