Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and quantitative methods.
Develop and implement quantitative models for financial forecasting, risk assessment, portfolio optimization, and performance attribution.
Conduct back-testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability in various market conditions.
Conduct research on financial markets, economic trends, and investment strategies using quantitative tools and methodologies.
Generate alpha signals, identify trading opportunities, and develop systematic trading strategies based on quantitative analysis.
Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and investment teams to integrate quantitative insights into investment decisions and strategies.
Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate research findings, model outputs, and performance metrics effectively.
Present quantitative research findings and investment recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and investment committees.
Customize reports and presentations based on audience requirements and strategic objectives.
Analyze portfolio risk exposures, volatility, and correlations using quantitative tools and risk models.
Perform performance attribution analysis to assess the impact of investment decisions and strategies on portfolio returns.
Monitor and evaluate risk factors, market dynamics, and macroeconomic indicators to inform risk management strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research initiatives and project execution.
Participate in team meetings, research discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to contribute insights and promote continuous learning.
Contribute to research projects, white papers, and thought leadership initiatives to advance quantitative research capabilities and methodologies.

Required
Proficiency in statistical analysis, econometrics, and quantitative modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis, time series analysis, machine learning).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
Understanding of financial instruments, asset classes, market dynamics, and investment strategies.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make data-driven recommendations.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex quantitative concepts and research findings to diverse audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, share knowledge, and contribute to research projects and initiatives.
Meticulous attention to detail in data analysis, model development, and documentation.
Master’s or PhD degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in quantitative research, financial analysis, quantitative modeling, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
