Responsibilities
Play a pivotal role in planning and executing the modernization effort of the client's IT environment.
Design and implement the foundation for future systems of the client.
Work closely with senior Federal staff to gather data requirements and work on data transformation.
Utilize various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
Process data and perform statistical programming using PySpark and SQL.
Experience in using Ansible, Azure DevOps, CloudFormation, dbt, and YAML.
Utilize data visualization tools such as SAS Visual Analytics and Socrata.
Work in AWS cloud services and Agile development environments.
Deliver in challenging, fast-paced environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders of different technical abilities.

Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Extensive experience in data mining, AWS Cloud Data Services – Glue, S3, EventBridge, Athena, Presto SQL, Lambda and data analysis
Understanding of various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
Proficiency in data processing and statistical programming using PySpark, SQL.
Expert level Experience in use of Ansible, Azure DevOps (ADO), CloudFormation, dbt and YAML
Experience in use of other data visualization tools such as SAS Visual Analytics and Socrata
A demonstrated history of hands-on experience in quantitative analysis
A demonstrated history of working in large enterprise level applications.
Ability to work with various stakeholders with different technical abilities to gather data requirements.
Experience working in AWS cloud services.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
A track record of delivery in challenging, face-paced environments
BS or equivalent + 10 yrs related experience, or MS + 8 yrs related experience.
Preferred
Experience with ETL tools (AWS Glue, S3, EMR, Spark, SQL , Presto SQL)
Programming experience in Python and hands on knowledge with API developer tool, VS Code is a plus.
Familiarity with big data concepts and approaches. examples include, the Hadoop ecosystem and related technical stack (i.e. HDFS, Hive, Spark)
Familiarity with RedShift, Snow Flake data warehousing technologies.
