Responsibilities

Work alongside other BI professionals to create a BI Center of Excellence.

Use PowerBI to build strong dashboards and visualizations.

Configure and maintain gateways to ensure data connectivity between Power BI and local databases or files.

Manage workspaces, assign members, and control access to reports, dashboards, and datasets.

Handle user accounts, permissions, and access to workspaces and datasets.

Configure and manage organization level settings such as security, access controls, and data refresh schedules.

Maintain documentation related to Power BI administration.

Track usage, analyze performance metrics, and optimize resource allocation.

Automate monitoring and server job processes.

Enable data governance, version control, and data source management within Power BI.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data connections, visualizations, and report generation.

Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and datasets to ensure responsiveness and data accuracy.

Manage and administer the Power BI platform, including user access, security settings, and data source connections.
