Responsibilities
Keep up to date with functionality and advanced features of Cognos / MicroStrategy tools
Acquire knowledge of business processes and source data
Receive requests from the business and prioritize accordingly
Research and identify the key business metrics and KPIs needed for the report
Lead storyboarding sessions to assist business users in defining requirements
Document the business initiatives and deliverables of the request
Test and validate the deliverable to ensure accuracy
Address issues and resolve requests for additional information
Maintain clear communication with business users
Provide guidance and support to junior BI analysts
Take ownership of projects
Adhere to B&H policies and procedures including data security/privacy guidelines

Required

Preferred
8+ years using Cognos / MicroStrategy or other BI tools
Expert understanding of Business Intelligence and data science
Advanced SQL coding language expertise
Knowledge of python coding language
Expert understanding of Data Warehouse design and data models
