Responsibilities
Leading, managing, and coordinating all development activities including site acquisition, regulatory approvals, financial valuation, and stakeholder engagement.
Ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving within the project team.
Taking profit and loss responsibility for projects from acquisition to execution handoff.
Supporting the development strategy to achieve project milestones on time and on budget.
Gathering market intelligence and expanding relationships with local stakeholders.
Managing the local permitting process and compliance with permit conditions.
Identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans, and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with project stakeholders.
Reviewing and managing project contracts to ensure compliance.
Regularly traveling to project sites.

Required
At least 3+ years of direct project development experience, 4+ years preferred
5+ years of professional experience in renewable energy industry
Four-year Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Energy, real estate, engineering, or business related) preferred
Ability to formulate and recommend decisions with limited information
Project management, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
Results driven and solutions oriented
