Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Identify and research areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce cost. Utilize process simulation and modeling tools and perform sensitivity analyses.
Process Development: Conceptualize new modular separation systems ensuring efficiency, scalability, and sustainability. Ingenuity for using the broad concepts of chemical engineering and applying them to address specific system objectives.
Math skills: Use the principles of advanced math topics including troubleshooting their work, calculus for analysis and design
Proposal writing: Prepare technical proposals for customers and stakeholders, outlining project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Present proposals and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and business development, to ensure successful product deployment and customer satisfaction.
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
0-3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or separation technology industries.
Strong understanding of chemical process engineering.
Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL, or similar).
Proficiency in computer programming (e.g., python, C, and/or VBA).
Excellent math and problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets to make informed decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly present technical information to a diverse audience.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.
Preferred
Experience with pilot plant operations and process scale-up is a bonus.
