Responsibilities
Working from various systems and reports, coordinate production schedules and weekly plans in the assigned work area.
Schedule and stage production orders, parts, and material based on dispatch, capacity, and lead time.
Identify and resolve shortages in the assigned area, maintain shortage system, and provide commitment dates.
Conduct capacity reviews, monitor work center queues, and release orders as queued by the analyst.
Maintain system data integrity, perform system functions, and update WIP as required.
Participate in open order inventory and continuous improvement activities.
Assist in resolving rejected material, analyzing bottleneck issues, and guiding lower grade personnel.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required, or in lieu of degree, a minimum of 4 years in scheduling, expediting, or planning background in related industry
Strong oral and written communication skills required
Preferred
MRP software experience preferred
Basic understanding of Lean methodologies preferred
Advanced use of Excel including PowerPivot, PowerQuery, or PowerBI preferred
