Responsibilities

Design ML orchestration pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support enterprise machine learning systems at scale.

Work on front-end and back-end systems to solve problems in maintainable ways.

Design and document changes to the architecture of the application platform.

Collaborate with various teams including product, design, and machine learning.

Uphold high engineering standards and promote code quality through reviews and testing.

Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance performance and reliability of machine learning systems.

Support model development with a focus on audibility, versioning, and reproducibility.

Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or foreign degree equivalent

1-4 years of software engineering experience with Python or any object-oriented programming language. A background in Machine Learning is not required!

Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open source tools

Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems

Preferred

Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments

Experience building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer (or equivalent)

Experience working with cloud computing and database systems

Familiarity with data workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g., KubeFlow, Airflow)
