Responsibilities

Evaluate the legacy monolithic architecture and break out the rules engine.

Provide customized data structures as the team moves to a microservices model.

Architect full-stack systems for speed and distributed computing.

Embrace DevOps principles, including continuous delivery and support of production applications.

Stay updated on the latest technologies within cloud architecture and drive the organization to adapt to emerging best practices.

Contribute to the development of scalable, distributed systems via Docker/Kubernetes.

Design, develop, test, and deploy applications with a 'you build it, you own it' mentality.

Perform unit testing on applications and code deployments.

Work collaboratively in an Agile Software Development environment.

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Participate in application modernization and financial services industry projects.

Utilize AWS services such as EMR, Lambda, EC2, Kinesis, S3, ElastiCache/Redis, and FSx.

Required

At least 5 years of experience delivering applications from architectural design to production implementation.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in deploying scalable, distributed systems or multi-node database paradigms via Docker/Kubernetes.

At least 3 years of experience with cloud software design, containerized micro-services & distributed caching with Spring Boot and AWS (highly preferred).

Sr. Level Python coding and concept knowledge.

Experience in End-to-End Development You build it, you own it mentality and practices (Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy).

Experience in Unit Testing your applications and code to deployments.

Working knowledge of Window COTS products & applications.

Experience in Agile Software Development.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.

Passion for software development, the latest trends, and innovation.
