Responsibilities
Designing and developing scalable, secure data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and transferring large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
Building and maintaining complex database logic and APIs to automate data fetching and storage.
Utilizing programming languages (e.g., Python), ETL tools, and both relational and non-relational databases to architect efficient data solutions.
Implementing data quality, security, and governance standards across various cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Collaborating in the design and configuration of data management tools to extract and manipulate data from internal and external databases.

Required
Extensive experience creating scalable and secure data pipelines.
Proficiency in building complex database logic and APIs.
Strong skills in Python or related programming languages.
Expertise in architecting reusable components for complex applications.
Familiarity with data quality, security, and governance best practices.
Experience designing integrations between data management tools.
Proficiency in developing data solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
Experience with secure data movement and storage (PHI, PII, PCI).
Ability to enhance application resilience and performance.
Collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, and IT operations to build transformative data products.
Leadership in technical projects and mentoring team members.
Innovative problem-solving skills for complex business challenges.
Knowledge of modern DevSecOps practices and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Preferred
Experience leading teams of data engineers and analysts.
Familiarity with data governance processes.
Knowledge of data classification and taxonomy tools.
