Responsibilities
Gather and compile financial data from multiple sources, including databases, financial statements, market reports, and external sources.
Clean, organize, and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis and reporting purposes.
Perform quantitative analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and insights in financial data sets.
Prepare and generate financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings, financial performance metrics, and trends.
Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to present complex financial data in a clear and meaningful manner for stakeholders.
Support financial reporting processes, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Analyze financial performance, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to analyze business drivers and optimize financial outcomes.
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Develop and implement data management procedures, controls, and best practices to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in data analytics tools and techniques.
Enhance technical skills in data manipulation, SQL querying, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to support data-driven decision-making.

Required
Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics (e.g., ROI, NPV, IRR).
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis software (e.g., Python, R).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex data issues and business challenges.
Accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role within a corporate finance, consulting, or financial services environment.
