Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust security plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct thorough security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to systems.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure security controls are properly implemented.
Help update security policies and procedures, participate in audits, and assist with risk assessments.

Required
A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to collaborate effectively.
A deep understanding of security best practices and a passion for keeping data secure.
Experience developing and implementing security plans (bonus points for experience with NIST SP 800-53!).
Technical writing skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (IRS 1075, SSA security).
Experience creating and maintaining IT policies and procedures.
Security certifications (CISA, CISSP).
Preferred
Previous experience working in a government environment.
Familiarity with our client's specific security needs.
