Responsibilities
Collaborate with CTO on architectural decisions and technology choices for the web platform
Work with product and design teams to define and execute the technical roadmap
Lead and grow a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
Partner with recruiting team to hire and retain top engineering talent
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and engineering excellence

Required
BS in Computer Science or related field
8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
Deep expertise in modern web frameworks and technologies (React, Node.js, GraphQL, etc.), and large-scale distributed systems
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
Experience scaling engineering teams and processes from early-stage to mature organizations
Proven ability to balance technical leadership with people management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
MS in Computer Science or related field
Background in the game industry, with a focus on high-performance web applications
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Track record of successful product launches and scaling user bases from 0 to millions
