Responsibilities

Defines and promotes a quality mindset by establishing quality and reliability standards.
Creates the best quality KPIs for the organization and trains the development team on KPIs as well as how to improve them. Monitors quality based on the quality KPIs.
Together with senior leadership, holds the dev and QA managers accountable for quality KPIs for their product line.
Infuses quality into the CD/CI pipeline.
Executes and maintains manual and automated test cases that assess software functionality and performance using engineering principles using multiple systems, platforms, environments, or browsers.
Reviews software requirements and specifications and develops testing strategies for product releases. Codes reusable test functions or components.
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements. Integrates into business processes to address the needs of the business.
Embraces the two quality DORA metrics and ensures root causes analyses are completed and addressed for P1s.
Leads a team in projects and day-to-day work, providing coaching and development.
Stays up to date with industry trends and product evolution.

Required

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience
8+ years of related experience, required
Comprehensive industry knowledge with an understanding of the software development life cycle and various edge cases currently in use with the platform to properly foresee and test impacts of new products/features appropriately
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop others
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective action
High functioning technical skills with the ability to utilize industry related tools and systems such as Asana, Zendesk, Jotform, Microsoft Office, etc
Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams, coordinate project phases, and navigate project teams through roadblocks
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and summarize findings
Advanced programing skills in java with the ability to read code
Ability to travel less than 5% of the time
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required
Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed

Preferred

Master's degree (or international equivalent), preferred
10+ years of related experience, preferred
