Responsibilities

Understand product strategy, market, industry, and client goals

Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories

Work with Product Manager to understand the strategic vision for the product

Deep sense of ownership and accountability for the problem solution

Assist delivery of business results for key initiatives

Own the product backlog: author epics and stories, actively refine it to ensure well-documented requirements

Create detailed user acceptance criteria by working with end users and the development teams

Assist with testing and removing blockers during sprint activities; supporting team members as needed to accomplish sprint objectives

Collaboratively drive the execution of the product: participate in the daily stand-up, proactively manage risks, actively and passionately assist the team to resolve product blockers

Partner with UX, business teams, and developers to design the solution for product features

Ability to change scope based on goals and manage tradeoffs across initiatives

Manage go-to-market activities such as release notes, marketing videos, demos, and field training

Ensure internal and external stakeholders are excited and well informed of upcoming changes

Strategically escalate issues to leadership

Primary subject matter contact for product area

Effectively manage execution of scrum teams

Contribute to planning and definition

Situational awareness and ability to adapt to changing situations
