Responsibilities
Facilitates the management of multiple responsible AI projects in stages ranging from initiation to deployment, enabling understanding of project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, data scientists, and ethics and policy experts, to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develops comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, and actively monitor progress against key milestones.
Identifies and forecasts risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively communicates with stakeholders to address challenges and ensure project success.
Implements robust knowledge management solutions, including document repositories, wikis, and collaboration tools, to facilitate the capture, organization, and dissemination of project-related information and insights.
Establishes and enforces best practices for documentation, version control, and knowledge sharing across project teams.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from project teams and stakeholders, and leveraging lessons learned to refine project management processes and methodologies.

Required
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus
5+ years of experience managing complex projects, preferably in the AI, machine learning, or software development domain
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
Experience implementing knowledge management solutions, including document management systems, collaboration platforms, and version control tools
Familiarity with agile and traditional project management methodologies, as well as project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project
Understanding in AI and a commitment to promoting ethical and transparent practices in AI development and deployment
Preferred
PMP certification
