Responsibilities

Coordination and execution of the overall Center and study activities in collaboration with investigators.
Monitor and coordinate project planning, to ensure tasks and activities by all project staff are on schedule.
Submit and manage all institutional review board activities.
Communicate with research partners, sponsors, faculty and staff as well as other internal and external constituencies.
Coordinate planning and logistics for multi-site and multi-organization partner meetings.
Monitor progress regarding Center objectives and timelines.
Work closely with the Contact PI, MPIs and project and core teams to oversee data collection and data analysis.
Contribute to research team building, dissemination of study findings, and community engagement activities.
Program success requires traveling to consortium sites, board meetings and community partners as needed.
Develop and adhere to project timelines and milestones.
Oversee the scheduling of operations meeting for relevant stakeholders.
Ensure agendas and minutes are prepared, collected and available.
Maintain a daily schedule for monitoring all communications related to the NY CHAMPS Project and EnCoRe MoMs study.
Serve as an administrative and research support to all faculty and staff related to the NY CHAMPS Project and EnCoRe MoMs study.
Monitor expenditures for the project and work with Financial team on yearly budgets and subcontracts.
Coordinate CHARGE Board meetings and materials.
Coordinate meetings with the Implementation Science Hub at the University of Pennsylvania.
Coordinate meetings and materials with the Data Innovation and Coordinating Hub at Johns Hopkins University.
Manage all aspects of operations management including working closely with faculty and staff in completing all administrative aspects of programs implementation.
Ensure that all supplies and material needed for the projects are obtained.
Coordinate and manage regulatory procedures for human subject research.
Process IRB submissions including new submissions and modifications.
Assist in the preparation of reports including annual NIH Progress reports, regulatory reports to funding and regulatory agencies.
Ensure regulatory compliance is met and regulatory files are audit-ready at all times.
Oversee and coordinate the logistics of research procedures conducted at core facilities.
Manage MTAs/ DUAs related to the project as needed.
Perform additional related duties as assigned/needed.

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience; plus, four years of relevant work experience in project management, maternal health research, and community engagement.
Must successfully complete all online training requirements.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to exercise initiative and judgment.
Ability to work independently.
Team player with the ability to thrive in a busy office environment.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Meet deadlines as needed.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks while maintaining responsibility for timely execution.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

Preferred

Prior research experience preferred. Strong preference for internal candidates.
Previous experience working on RASCAL, Columbia Sponsored Project administration preferred.
Previous experience managing large multisite projects or programs.
Previous experience with NIH grants.
Master's degree preferred.
