Responsibilities

Design and implement repairs and/or modifications to existing facility and plant equipment.

Develop facility plans, layouts, and drawings for renovations and new construction projects as well as new equipment installations and commissioning.

Coordinate project work with maintenance, engineering, and production departments to ensure work completion within budget and schedule.

Identify opportunities to upgrade or enhance factory equipment or automation systems for improved reliability and efficiency.

Coordinate and develop work scopes for outside maintenance and contractor services.

Assist maintenance technicians, process engineers, and production personnel with troubleshooting factory equipment and control systems.

Ensure work conformance with Kenworth and PACCAR policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable codes.

Required

A 4-year engineering degree is required.

At least 5 years or more related experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

The ability to manage multiple projects with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and job requirements.

A working knowledge of building, electrical, mechanical, and industrial life safety codes and requirements.

Preferred

Experience with maintenance and testing of medium voltage electrical equipment is preferred but not required.

Hands-on experience with industrial controls equipment, automation software, Ignition SCADA, and PLC programming is preferred but not required.
