Responsibilities
Utilize MRP systems to monitor inventory levels and generate accurate forecasts.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Perform data mining to extract valuable insights for inventory optimization.
Collaborate with procurement and contract teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Analyze supply chain processes to enhance inventory efficiency.
Conduct financial modeling to support inventory decision-making.
Assist in materials management by coordinating inventory movements.
Be prepared for occasional heavy lifting tasks related to inventory handling.
Work with team leads in conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory across all customers.
Assist in all Audits (Transpak and Customer, as appropriate).
Oversee the handling of the receiving log, discrepancy reports, scrapping, obsolescence claims and all counts.
Conduct finished and raw good month end inventories.
Ensure that First In First Out (FIFO) is maintained across all commodities.
Work with inventory across multiple facilities and facilitate transfers for both outgoing and incoming material between plants.
Monitor inventory and alert senior management when low by devising min/max quantities necessary to perform business.
Monitors all MRO items to always ensure proper stock levels and establish reorder points based on lead times.
Devise and implement ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
Establish “Standard Packs” in coordination with Plant Operations .
Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
Use the MRP and ERP reports to analyze data in anticipation of future demands.
Create and send purchase orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excess surplus.
Address, investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in automotive warehousing
Familiarity with financial analysis techniques related to inventory control.
Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred
Experience with the FCA inventory module preferred
Experience with Plex or other ERP system preferred
