Responsibilities

Interpret data, analyze performance results, develop insights, including with the use of statistical techniques.
Turn data observations into meaningful stories to drive desired business outcomes for clients and Petco.
Prepare and provide reports and dashboards to client marketing teams.
Build custom reports and dashboards in Adobe Analytics, Looker, proprietary ad platform, and other analytical tools to monitor program performance, and ensure reporting is intuitive and enables insights for stakeholders.
Support retail media analytics and customer data platform needs, such as setting up data transfers, maintaining data dictionaries, creating and distributing reports.
Create and maintain documentation on Petco’s processes and best practice for advertising technology and analytical technology tools.
Support the marketing and media teams in all efforts across media planning and execution where data, audiences, or advertising systems are required to be successful.
Help evaluate marketing and advertising technology solutions and tools in the market.
Contribute to and maintain inputs to task boards (e.g., Jira) for marketing and media to reference the status of submitted requests. Participate in bi-weekly meetings with stakeholders to share progress and opportunities with broader media team.
Support marketing analytics teams on data infrastructure and analytics projects.
Assist with yield management analyses, forecasting, planning, and strategy.

Required

2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, media, data analytics, consulting, or IT or Ecommerce roles.
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
Strong communication skills (in person, on phone, virtual meetings, email & chat) with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including executive management.
Curiosity and drive to succeed.
Comfort operating amidst ambiguity.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and be comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; great organizational skills with attention to detail.
Work closely with teams on premises, but can facilitate long distance/virtual working relationships and communicate back to the broader on-premise group.
Experience with the following; demonstrable expertise will set you apart: writing SQL queries, Python scripting, R/statistical packages, web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), Snowflake (or similar customer data platforms), advertising clean rooms, DSPs such as DoubleClick or Trade Desk
