Responsibilities

Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.

Works individually or as part of a team.

Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements.

Resolves software problem reports.

Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

Provides specific input to the software components of system design.

Performs expert-level troubleshooting.

Provides recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.

At least 15 years of experience as a Software Engineer or a similar role.
