Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities: Research, identify, and qualify key accounts and prospects to generate interest.
Develop and maintain customer relationships: Establish strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate solutions and support.
Provide technical support: Offer guidance and assistance to customers regarding the proper selection, installation, and usage of our filtration products. Support may take place in-person, over the phone, over video conference, or some combination of each medium.
Conduct product demonstrations: Effectively demonstrate the features, capabilities, and advantages of our filtration products to potential customers.
Troubleshoot technical issues: Investigate and resolve complex technical problems related to filtration applications, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
Support product launches: Assist in the successful introduction of new filtration products, providing technical support during the launch phase.
Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the sales, marketing, manufacturing, and R&D teams to provide input on customer requirements and market trends.
Participate in ongoing training, including occasional bench training, to maintain proficiency with TeraPore products.
Deliver technical training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding of filtration products and applications.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously monitor and evaluate the latest advancements in filtration technology, attending conferences and workshops to expand knowledge.
Prepare technical documentation: Maintain and provide feedback on product manuals, application notes, and technical guides for internal and external use.

Required

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or related fields).
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business development, field applications or technical support role, preferably within the filtration industry, life science purification applications, or related scientific field.
Strong technical knowledge: Proficient understanding of filtration technologies, filtration processes, and related applications. Familiarity with different types of filters, membranes, and separation techniques is highly desirable.
Customer-focused mindset: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely. Experience delivering technical presentations is a plus.
Team player: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects. Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically (approximately 40-50% of the time) to visit customers, attend conferences, and provide on-site support.
Self-motivated and proactive: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred

Experience delivering technical presentations is a plus.
