Responsibilities

Promote and maintain effective communications with district and project management teams.
Examine field conditions, identify problems, and take corrective action.
Maintain client schedules, tracking, and trends.
Listen to employee and supervisor suggestions, evaluate, and implement action plans.
Identify and minimize safety hazards.
Maintain knowledge of the Kiewit Quality Management System and procedures.
Draft and maintain a Project Quality Plan for projects.
Identify potential quality incidents and participate in internal quality audits.
Provide administrative support for audits and other Quality Department programs.
Participate in district standards meetings and provide input on quality assurance.
Understand ISO 9001 Standards requirements.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
4 yrs engineering or construction related years’ experience
Working knowledge of quality control procedures relating to design/construction activities is required
Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint software programs as well as able to quickly learn other software applications
ASQ, CQM, CQA or CWI certified and inspection experience a plus
Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments
Excellent communication and technical writing skills, ability to research and work with detailed/technical matters and convey/explain the information to field personnel
Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform a variety of tasks with deadlines and potentially frequent interruptions
Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
Ability to travel as business requires

Preferred

P3/P6 software knowledge is highly desired
