Responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and enhance local and wide area network systems.
Plan design, evaluate, select, and upgrade operating systems and protocol suites.
Resolve interoperability problems, conduct performance testing and documentation.
Administer networks, perform configuration management, and provide input on acquisitions and design layout.

Required
3+ years of experience with IP networking design and troubleshooting
Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls set up and configuration
Experience with testing and deployment of DoD systems or solutions
Experience with network and firewall troubleshooting or problem-solving
Knowledge of routing protocols, including L3VPNs, BGP, and Multicast
Ability to plan, develop, and perform lab performance and functional and integration testing
Ability to travel to support work activities such as installs
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Preferred
Experience with DoD networks
Experience with network design and security
Experience with STIGing or security hardening of systems
Experience with ACAS or security analysis tools
Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently
Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree
CCNA or CCNP Certification
