Responsibilities

Applies ISD knowledge and experience to develop instructional materials and methods.

Assists with identifying and creating instructional material to address performance shortfalls.

Supports course documentation including course design document, guides, syllabus, exercises, and assessments.

Collaborates with SMEs to ensure learning objectives align with client needs.

Develops eLearning courses, instructor-led courses, and blended learning courses.

Ensures courses are Section 508 compliant.

Conveys information to the learning audience using a variety of media.

Provides advice on multimedia formats and styles for course material.

Maintains knowledge of new technologies in the graphic art field.

Manages document control of course material.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and teaming skills.

Required

Requires 8 or more years progressive work experience in instructional design to include training industry experience (instructor-led, online, and in blended environments), preferably in the DoD or IC community.

Must possess a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of formal education, experience (at least eight years preferably in a training environment, within any local, county, municipal, state, military or federal), and professional training and/or certifications.

TS/SCI w/Poly required

Preferred

Experience with Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline preferred

Experience with SCORM, Section 508 requirements, and technical specifications for Learning Management preferred

Knowledge of a variety of methods, techniques and materials used in the design, production, and reproduction of visual products preferred

Experience in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator CS, Captivate, Storyline, Photoshop CS, InDesign, Premiere, Audition, Macromedia Flash, Visual Basic, 3D Studio Max, Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard or Moodle, preferred
