Responsibilities

Set the direction for the Delivery team by developing and executing engineering strategies aligned with the company’s business goals

Report directly to the CEO, providing regular updates on project status, team performance, and strategic initiatives

Join pre-sales conversations to ensure projects are good fits for Divelement and offer your technical expertise

Interface with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable engineering solutions

Partner with Lead Developers across Divelement to ensure solutions are well architected and consistent with Divelement’s standards of excellence in mind

Partner with Project Managers, Operations, People Operations and Talent Acquisitions on project staffing decisions and capacity planning

Match Developer skill sets, preferences and career goals with role opportunities and project requirements

Maintain hands-on involvement in the design and development processes, providing technical leadership and mentoring

Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.

Directly lead the entire Delivery team, overseeing operations in Engineering, QA, Design and Solutions

Collaborate with People Operations to create professional development paths for the Delivery team

Support the Delivery team with performance concerns and be an escalation point for Client feedback

Conduct productivity and performance assessments routinely and apply improvements and efficiencies to drive a high performing team

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Contribute to the organization’s operational best practices

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, compliance, and developments

Abide by Divelement's company policies and advise on areas for improvement to the People Operations team

Uphold and embody the core values of Integrity, Ownership, and Empowerment in all their behaviors and contributions

Follow the published processes and playbooks pertaining to their area of expertise and share feedback on improvements

Required

Must be skilled and experienced in the following coding languages and frameworks: Javascript, Typescript, React, NodeJS, Next.JS, Python

This position will require the knowledge and experience or quick ramp in the following tools and services: Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), Jira, Github, Figma, Confluence

Must embody accountability, bias to action, and collaboration

Strong time-management and organizational abilities

Strong coding skills

Ability to delegate

Analytical thinking

Excellent communication in English (Bilingual knowledge of Spanish its a plus)

Positive motivational, and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or experience
