Responsibilities

Install, operate, maintain, treat, and repair all plumbing fixtures in relation to all bodies of water

Responsible for operation, repair, maintenance and inspection of all pumps, motors, valves, pipes, and related controllers that pertain to the plumbing systems

Responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and piping

Maintain and repair all property and equipment within the specialty

Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government regulations

Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention

Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times

Required

High school diploma or GED

Three (2) years of pool and/or plumbing related work experience

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Preferred

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) License

Experience working in a similar resort setting

Effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Working knowledge of the water, sewer, and natural gas, plumbing and piping system, storm drains, catch basins and gas fired heaters

Ability to understand and comply with all company safety policies and their requirements. This includes attendance at training meetings as scheduled

Ability to visually observe equipment and/or property

Ability to read at a level sufficient to comprehend chemical MSDS paperwork

Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes
