Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Platform Engineering team, fostering an innovative and inclusive team culture that attracts and retains top talent.
Develop and execute a cloud-first strategy, ensuring the adoption of cloud-native technologies and practices across all development and operational activities.
Oversee the design, development, and management of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to promote automation, repeatability, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Software Development) to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud-based solutions.
Drive the selection and implementation of cloud technologies (services, tools, platforms) that enhance productivity and meet organizational goals.
Manage and optimize cloud spending, leveraging cost management tools and strategies to ensure efficient use of cloud resources.
Establish and maintain cloud governance, compliance, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of cloud infrastructure.
Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and opportunities for professional growth.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field and 9+ years of experience, or a Master's and 7+ years of experience, or a PhD or JD and 4+ years of experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must be a US Citizen.
Professional certification in cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and management.
9+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing platform engineering or similar teams.
Strong technical background in cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native technologies.
Demonstrated experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization practices.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
