Responsibilities

Develop core and/or device software for complex medical imaging device

Create/develop modern, efficient, elegant, and scalable code

Perform internal software tests and debugging

Device software (“Dev-ops”) tasks such as daily builds and releases to Systems Test team

Design reliable software for fault-intolerant applications - e.g. medicine, scientific computing

Follow Hyperfine’s QMS guidelines to meet quality and regulatory requirements

Add/update those items in the Software Code Management repository (e.g., GitHub), and provide clear messages of changes

Productize software in conjunction with cross-functional input from Commercial, Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, Test, Hardware, and Software teams

Communicate status of all responsible projects both in writing and verbally to team as well as cross-functional partners

Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Required

Proficiency with Python (C/C++ language is a plus)

Working knowledge with Linux OS, Ubuntu preferred

Working knowledge of Software build process

Ability to work in highly collaborative environment (onsite and with other virtual teams)

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Effectively communicate both within the team and cross-functionally

BA/BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field

5+ years' experience designing and building software applications

Experience with new product development

Experience with software revision systems, like git, and continuous integration systems

Experience in fast-paced, agile, and highly collaborative environments

Preferred

Experience with Python

Experience with C/C++ language

Experience with health equipment sales, business development, or marketing
