Responsibilities

Configure, optimize, and manage security policies for Extended Detection and Response (XDR) product suite.

Design, deploy and maintain Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms to streamline and automate incident response processes.

Implement and manage cloud security solutions and systems such as Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Cloud Infrastructure Entitlements Management (CIEM), Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP), and Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).

Integrate security solutions with existing systems and applications to ensure seamless access control and authentication processes across the enterprise.

Oversee the lifecycle of security tools, including deployment, maintenance, and upgrades, to ensure optimal performance.

Tailor and optimize security tools to meet the needs and challenges of the organization’s infrastructure and security landscape.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide security guidance and support.

Work closely with security architect and other key stakeholders in the evaluation and selection of new tools based on latest industry trends and emerging threats.

Perform health check monitoring various security tools and components to ensure consistent quality of service and availability to end users that satisfies SLAs.

Create and maintain security configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain awareness of emerging threats related to cloud security and propose changes to mitigate them.

Research the latest cloud security tools, techniques, and leading practices.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, cyber security, or related field

Minimum of 8 years of work experience in cybersecurity

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a cybersecurity engineer role

Proficiency in Microsoft Defender XDR suite (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps)

Experience administering and managing CASB solution such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps

Experience administering and managing Microsoft Defender for Cloud

Experience with KQL (or other query languages) and analytic rules

Experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell)

Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst

General security certification preferred (e.g., CISSP, GIAC)
