Responsibilities

Collaboratively ideate to solve novel problems in the area of ads measurement.

Implement designs to a scalable, high-quality observable set of pipelines and services as an individual contributor.

Ensure quality, scalability, and performance of the systems built.

Lean into and pick up new technologies as driven by project needs.

Partner with program teams to plan and execute sprint goals.

Required

4+ years of programming experience in Scala (preferred) or Java

Hands-on experience building distributed data processing applications using Apache Spark or Apache Flink

Proven skills in designing scalable, highly available distributed systems using Kafka, Iceberg, Kubernetes, Airflow & Cassandra or similar technologies

Understanding of functional programming ideas and principles

Self-directed, self-motivated and ability to create architecture and design documents

Good understanding of software engineering principles and fundamentals including algorithms and data structures

Ability to capture cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks

Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment

Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and collaborative problem solver

Bachelors/Masters Computer Science, Math, Statistics or equivalent work experience
