Responsibilities

Support 360 product development of all programs from concept through launch

Responsible for executing all formula, primary and secondary packaging approvals for aesthetics and desired attributes on time and within COGs

Update project trackers for both internal cross-functional teams and supplier network in weekly touch-bases

Responsible for tracking, labeling and distribution of all samples including benchmarks, formula and shade submissions, production standards and competitive market samples

Review and manage formula submissions, logging samples received and formula feedback both internally and with external artists

Support cross-functional communication and attend internal development meetings to provide department updates to various teams

Proactively anticipate issues and communicate updates and changes in projects

Research and present relevant trends, new product launches and consumer insights to the product development team

Help identify new product opportunities and create comprehensive Product Development Briefs, including launch concept, formula direction, shade direction, packaging direction and target costs

Manage communication with contract manufacturers and relevant suppliers

Research, compile data, and deliver reporting on any requested product performance metrics

Support the retail team and sales force by providing necessary documents/information on products

Provide product details and review all product artwork including final proofing of labels and marketing materials for technical accuracy, fact-checking, typos, design incongruence, etc. with the Director of Regulatory + Compliance.

Maintain package delivery tracker, formula submission and feedback tracker, and PD Bible

Maintain raw material & ingredient database and CM formula database

Present biweekly new launch recaps quarterly trend insights

Create texture and color mood board, and manage all formula submissions

Prepare competitive analysis and data deep dive for product concept & shading

Maintain master project folder regarding development (approval forms, marketing literature, packaging DTOs etc)

Need to be available for travel
