Responsibilities

Build and deliver software-based services on the connected car software platform.

Transform the existing platform to a modern, open, microservices, cloud-based system.

Work with the software development team in an agile environment to create, extend, and maintain the core of the platform.

Adhere to rules for test-driven/behavior-driven development by maintaining wiki pages, code styles, and code group/peer reviews.

Develop, maintain, and debug cloud-based microservice APIs.

Troubleshoot pre-and post-production issues in multiple development languages and platforms.

Required

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Computer Engineering plus three years of experience in the offered position or as software developer

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Computer Engineering plus five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the offered position or as software developer

Developing software in multiple development languages and platforms (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, python)

Utilizing Scrum or Kanban

Applying Cloud development and deployment best practices on AWS (ECS, EC2, ECR, Lambda, VPC, S3, and IoT)

Working with Linux, HTTP, REST, JSON and IP technologies

Managing big data with data-driven applications and technologies

Developing software in Agile workflow utilizing TDD/BDD best practices in continuous integration environment

Working within Git/Gitflow-based multi-branched software environment

Utilizing Atlassian Development Suite (Confluence, Jira, and BitBucket), Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
