Responsibilities

Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize their needs. Other duties may be assigned.
Captures, manages, and prioritizes requirements within the context of larger program increments.
Works with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to define features and epics in alignment with strategic objectives. Ensures that features are broken down into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Facilitates communication, understanding, and collaboration between teams in an Agile environment.
Participates in backlog refinement sessions to ensure that user stories are well-defined, estimated, and prioritized.
Works with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog.
Participates in SAFe® events such as Program Increment (PI) planning, inspect and adapt workshops, and release planning.
Collaborates with teams to identify dependencies and risks.
Participates in sprint reviews and user acceptance testing of product releases.
Maintains comprehensive documentation of requirements, user stories, and system features.
Shares knowledge and insights with team members to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and supervisor’s instruction to maximize personal output.

Required

Must be able to obtain government security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, IT or related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.
Exceptional skills in analyzing business and user needs and creating epics and user stories that inform the development of high-value technical solutions.
Ability to be self-motivated and to independently learn complex business rules and requirements for accounting and general ledger systems through review of existing documentation.
Ability to build a high level of trust and strong working relationships and partnerships with the assigned Product Owner.
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence and/or other Agile project tracking tools.
Experience in working with Visio and/or other business process mapping and visualization tools.
Extremely detail-oriented with ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with solid presentation skills.
Ability to communicate/explain technical information clearly and concisely to a broad range of people with varying levels of technical expertise.
Exceptional organization skills with ability to prioritize tasks and to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a dynamic, Agile environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Preferred

SAFe® Practitioner certification is a plus.
Experience working in financial accounting, financial management services, or lending institutions is a plus.
