Responsibilities
Be assigned to a project and work day-to-day with the project leaders including, but not limited to, Show Managers, Producers, Project Managers, etc.
Lead a range of work on a self-contained and defined project of appropriate size and complexity based on previous experience
Drive communication and collaboration within and for the team
Develop and share clear goals for the project i.e., collaboration strategies, scope delineation, schedule, budget, etc.
Identify and document project scope, strategies, and results
Track and report the team’s progress against action items and production schedules
Organize and coordinate with the vital contractors, vendors, internal fields, and partners to provide input and validation to Project team leaders for schedules, estimates, bid packages, staffing plans, change management, and deliverables as well as meetings, travel, procurement, receiving and shipping
Mentor and train other, less experienced team members
Domestic and international travel may be required

Required
Minimum of 2 years experience - leadership experience, film/theater production, engineering, construction, project controls, or other Disney/Themed Entertainment projects (Internships will be considered)
Proven track record of staying highly organized with minimal direction
Ability to coordinate project development process and documentation including shop drawings, document control, punch lists
Understanding of sourcing and procurement processes including contract administration
Understanding client needs, and handling relationships through conflict resolution and problem-solving
Understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and Disney standard
Exposure to and experience with outside vendors, and preparing professional bid packages
Ability to think strategically and thoughtfully about complex issues and problem-solve to resolution
Demonstrated leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and collaboration ability
Knowledge of Walt Disney Imagineering Disciplines and how they interrelate
Ability to organize and communicate project development processes and documentation in presentation, conversation, and written correspondence, to the project team, Senior Management, consultants, and partners
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Graphics programs for presentation
Working knowledge and understanding of an integrated design and production process with multiple studios
Ability to present in front of large groups
Preferred
Ability to read and understand architectural and technical drawings
Ability to understand construction and installation processes
Strongly prefer a 4-year undergraduate Degree in Business, Engineering, Theater, Environmental Design, or other Entertainment or Development-related field
Consideration will be made for those with more than 5 years’ experience and/or may be working toward a Degree
