Responsibilities

Verification Planning: Develop and document verification plans and methodologies based on design specifications.
Testbench Development: Create and maintain testbenches using hardware description languages (HDLs) like System Verilog or VHDL.
Test Case Development: Write and implement various test scenarios to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of IC designs.
Simulation and Debugging: Conduct simulations using EDA tools to identify and resolve design errors and bugs.
Coverage Analysis: Perform functional and code coverage analysis to ensure thorough testing of all design aspects.
Regression Testing: Develop and run regression tests to validate new design versions and ensure no new issues are introduced.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with design engineers, software engineers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive verification.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of verification processes, test cases, and results for future reference and compliance.

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in VLSI verification or related areas.
Proficiency in HDLs such as System Verilog, VHDL, or Verilog.
Experience with EDA tools like Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
Familiarity with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) is a plus.

Preferred

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) for automation.
Knowledge of ASIC design and verification processes.
Understanding of digital design fundamentals and semiconductor physics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
