Responsibilities

Lead and manage a portfolio of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational priorities.
Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct regular project reviews and status updates, providing timely reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
Facilitate collaboration and communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Utilize business analysis techniques to gather and analyze requirements, identify process improvements, and drive organizational change.
Stay informed of industry best practices, emerging trends, and relevant regulations in project management and education policy.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a state agency or education-related organization.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
Flexibility to work in a hybrid remote environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively both in-person and virtually.

Preferred

PMP certification is preferred but not required.
