Technical Lead (Duckcreek Policy + .Net Background)

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development in and around insurance products defined within clients’s Duck Creek Platform.
Develop and modify applications within Duck Creek Policy and lead a team of developers.
Communicate regularly in accordance with agreed-upon communications plan.
Collaborate with system architects, vendors, and business partners.
Work effectively with multiple assignments and teams to meet completion dates.
Train and mentor other staff members.
Lead customer discussions regarding base functionality and customization.
Participate in the full life-cycle development of the product, including development, integration, and testing of product features.
Analyze existing program logic to determine the best method of accomplishing required changes or cause of program malfunction.
Manage error handling and code exceptions.
Design program logic to meet specifications and adhere to development and architecture standards.
Prepare and deliver formal presentations on projects and status for business and technology leadership.
Own the technical direction of Innovation & Enablement projects, ensuring seamless execution and quality.
Keep abreast of Duck Creek Technology Product Roadmap and industry trends including Digital Transformation, InsureTech, AI/Machine Learning, etc.

Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
At least 5 years of leadership experience within cross-functional teams or programs
At least 8 years with insurance background required
Experience in Commercial lines platform/systems implementation of Duck Creek Policy is required
Expertise in assessing internal and external data needs to meet underwriting guidelines is required
At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in technology stack such as Microsoft.Net, Java, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS, XSLT etc.
Preferred
3-6 years of experience on Duck Creek Policy Platform delivering insurance products and capabilities for multiple lines of business preferred
Deep knowledge of commercial and specialty insurance products and operational processes is required
