Responsibilities

Perform complex analysis of very large customer data stores and database queries using SQL Tools such as SQL Assistant, PL/SQL, and Toad

Identify data patterns and trends in available information sources by performing mining and analyzing data using SQL

Participate in project meetings to ensure alignment with client expectations and timelines

Interact with client management to prioritize projects, tasks, and deliverables

Interpret results and present them to both internal and external clients utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Assess and troubleshoot data issues on multiple platforms, recommend and document business rules required to process and store new data

Interface with business partners and programming staff to determine data-related requirements and priorities

Document technical specifications and requirements, and translate them into IT specifications

Test database changes prior to implementation

Monitor data flows for quality issues, develop and enhance data quality reports

Perform root cause analysis and investigation on data quality issues

Create end-user documentation for database operations processes

Required

US Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or Business Analytics

Two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst or substantially similar position

Two (2) years of experience performing complex analysis of very large customer data stores and database queries using Teradata, Hadoop, SQL Server, DB2, SQL Assistant, PL/SQL, and Toad

Identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources by performing mining and analyzing data using SQL

Assessing and troubleshooting data issues on multiple platforms and recommending business rules to process and store new data

Performing root cause analysis on data quality issues
